Gears of War: E-Day is included with Game Pass on PC, according to the official Xbox game page. This confirms that Game Pass is an official way to play; it does not make every plan, region, or online entitlement identical.

| Cloud Gaming | The game can be streamed through cloud gaming with Game Pass |

The distinction between access to the game and access to online multiplayer matters. Before relying on a subscription for a group session, check its current benefits on the storefront associated with your account.
What to verify on your own account
- The Game Pass plan available in your country or region.
- Whether that plan includes online multiplayer for the platform where you intend to play.
- Whether you are installing on PC, playing through cloud streaming, or using an Xbox console.
- The current date and availability notice on the store page before subscribing or purchasing.
The official page describes the campaign as playable solo, in split-screen co-op, or with up to four players online. Two-player split-screen is listed as console-only. Those play options are separate from the current subscription terms, which can change by region and plan.
